This role involves assembling, troubleshooting, installing, testing and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.
Responsibilities
Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state and federal levels.
Perform safety-related functions and other miscellaneous electrical functions.
Competently configure VFDs.
Safely operate forklift and high lift truck.
Troubleshoot PLCs.
Physically capable of working from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
Proficient in testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and continuity of circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters and megaohmeters to ensure compatibility and safety.
Utilize systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem solving, avoiding unnecessary part replacements.
