Conduct site surveys to determine the initial project plan with the Project Manager. Ensure all required materials orders, equipment delivery, and inspections occur to support the project schedule. Be responsible for site safety, ensuring the jobsite is safe for workers and visitors and managing compliance with established company safety policies. Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer data; execute projects based on these documents. Review construction documents for completeness and constructability. Manage the overall project and 3-week look-ahead schedules, including master schedules and weekly updates. Generate RFIs (Requests for Information) as needed to ensure completeness of project documents and clarify discrepancies. Work with the project team to follow the company’s quality control program. Conduct preconstruction planning meetings and on-site project meetings with subcontractors and construction trades leads to clearly identify scope of work and quality expectations. Manage subcontractors for all on-site work. Set an example in keeping the job site organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection. Track site progress, capture progress photos, and report subcontractor on-site manhours using a mobile app. Qualifications
Construction Management / Superintendent experience (minimum 2 years). At least 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience. Clean DMV/Background check. Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings. Reliable transportation and flexible work hours. Work primarily after hours at night and on weekends. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail. Experience with interior finishes preferred. Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more. Ability to work indoors and outdoors (including during inclement weather). Ability to stand for long periods and to sit/drive as required for travel.
