Job Purpose
Assemble Electronic Circuit Boards per specifications and ensuring quality is a priority in our Carrollton TX Facility.
Nature Of Duties
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies, specifically a communication rack.
May include intricate installation, hand soldering, wiring, harnessing and hardware assembly. The daily function may vary from sitting to standing, moving line to stationary; with very light to medium weight components.
Reads and follows detailed, color-coded instructions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
0 – 1 years experience, training is provided
Must be able to visually inspect small items for accuracy
Must have manual dexterity to handle small parts
Eye-hand coordination is necessary
Must be able to read and understand diagrams, drawings and detailed instructions
Proficient computer and data entry skills preferred
Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
Able to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required
Adherence to health and safety regulations
Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Other duties as assigned
Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred
Physical Demands
Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.
