Diesel Mechanic Technician Class A – Performance Foodservice
Location: Commerce City, CO
Compensation and Shift
$34.00–$42.00 per hour (based on experience)
Sign‑on bonus $5,000 and annual tool allowance $1,000
Sunday through Thursday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm

Position Purpose We value the safety of our associates. The Diesel Technician – Class A keeps our associates safe by repairing, maintaining, and overhauling all company fleet diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Complete overhauls and rebuilds of heavy‑duty diesel engines and transmissions.
Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and identify root causes for failures.
Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, and other critical components.
Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration prior to road‑worthy status.
Document work orders through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
Install, replace, and repair onboard computer systems.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrications using hand and power tools.
Train and provide guidance to other mechanics.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
5+ years of proven medium to heavy‑duty vehicle repair experience, including preventive maintenance, tire & wheel service, air and disc brakes, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in A/C refrigeration.
