About The Position
We are looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Bala Cynwyd, PA area. As Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, our mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of services, including brakes, struts, shocks, and other undercar repairs. They also complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Qualifications Applicants must: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; (3) possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position); and (4) have an extensive personal tool box for undercar repairs. Preferred qualifications include state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
Physical Requirements Automotive mechanics must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance. They must regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
