Quanta Nashville (QMN)
was established in 2003 in LaVergne, TN, with 20 employees in one building. QMN currently occupies nine (9) facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 employees and GROWING!
We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and update product and process documents such as process flows, assembly SOPs, and any other reference documents for CCBU.
Perform system setup for production or NPI models.
Provide leadership in high‑impact projects, including new product introductions, facility expansions, and advanced automation deployments.
Strong mentorship and coaching abilities to guide and develop junior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
Provide training to operations regarding new products and processes.
Support in project and program management, including budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
Act and take ownership in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; able to reason while handling sensitive information.
Business and financial acumen, including cost modeling, capital project justification, and ROI analysis for high‑level investments.
Expert understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, FDA if applicable).
Change management expertise, with experience leading cultural and operational shifts within manufacturing organizations.
Strong innovation mindset, capable of identifying emerging technologies or methods that provide competitive advantage.
Work with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.
Collect, maintain and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY.
Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency.
Monitor daily metrics to ensure defined output and quality goals are reached.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering or equivalent preferred.
At least 5‑10 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with automated equipment.
Other Skills And Abilities
PC skills including MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
Effective written and verbal communication at all levels including customer.
Must be a team player that can work efficiently under minimal supervision.
Ability to function and execute in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Strong sense of process, detail and follow‑through.
Strong set of creative problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Ability to multi‑task across problem domains and various contexts.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Strong work ethic and drive to get job done.
Ability to work under pressure and in tight schedules and in fast‑paced environment.
