Position Overview: Interventional Radiologist
The role of the Interventional Radiologist entails delivering high-impact medical care through the utilization of advanced imaging techniques and procedural interventions.
Job Details
Work Shifts:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Onsite); Remote options available for shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Work Settings:
Combination of Onsite and Remote environments.
Imaging Modalities:
X-Ray (XR), Magnetic Resonance (MR), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), and Fluoroscopy.
Subspecialty Case Mix:
Emergency Radiology (ER), Musculoskeletal (MSK), Neurology (Neuro), Nuclear Medicine, Cardiothoracic procedures, Pediatrics, Fluoroscopy, Mammography (both screening and diagnostic), and Light Interventional Radiology (IR).
Procedures Performed:
Biopsies (including but not limited to Thyroid, Lung, Bone, Liver, and Renal biopsies, guided by CT and Ultrasound), Drainage procedures (Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess drainage, Chest tube insertion, Cyst aspiration), Lumbar Punctures (LP), Myelograms, and Arthrograms across various joints.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System:
Meditech.
Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS):
Merge.
Dictation System:
Fluency.
Daily Case Volume:
80 to 100 cases.
Qualifications
Board Certification – Required
Active Pennsylvania License – Required
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration – Required
State License Requirements: Pennsylvania
