The Flex Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role provides a variety of technical procedures and applies prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Also provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. Works across sites in close proximity to one another; travels to respective sites as needed. The travel nature exposes RT to a variety of urgent care settings and maximizes the number of X-rays performed. Job Requirements

Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required. Work Experience: Experience in a clinical setting preferred. Licenses/Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire. ARRT registration required. Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required. Valid State Driver’s License; must pass MVR background check. Must hold state licensure in the state of practice (NY, OR, WA, CT, CA, DE, MD, TX, VA, AR).

Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred. Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills. Social perceptiveness and service orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred. Core Competencies

X-ray services as needed

Perform x-ray services for patients under clinical provider direction, across all age groups, ensuring proper patient positioning and protection. Travel between two sites to provide X-ray services; assist with patient mobility as needed.

Patient Registration

Register patients, secure paperwork and insurance documentation, verify insurance and eligibility. Process co-pays and schedule appointments; coordinate referrals. Answer patient questions and communicate status.

Patient Preparation and Rooming

Inform staff of patient flow; prepare patients for examination; collect medical history; confirm visit purpose. Perform vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, weight, temperature); escalate critical cases as needed. Conduct point-of-care testing as needed and provide results to provider.

Stocking

Maintain exam rooms, front desk, and reception area supplies; manage inventory and expiration dates.

Administrative

Maintain medical records and scan charts; handle calls, payments, and correspondence; ensure reception is well maintained. Perform opening/closing duties; follow QA/QC logs; document daily controls and calibrations; submit repair tickets as needed.
