Alameda: Castro Valley, Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore; Contra Costa County: San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Martinez, Lafayette, Danville, Brentwood, Concord, Antioch, Oakley, Discovery Bay. Standard Job Description: Physical therapy aims to restore function, prevent or minimize disability following disease or injury, and help clients reach their maximum performance within their capabilities. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients using medically prescribed programs and may supervise Physical Therapy Assistants according to agency and regulatory standards. Responsibilities and Duties for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): Implement the care plan developed by the Physical Therapist. Assist patients with mobility and movement to regain independence. Create detailed treatment and care plans for each patient. Coordinate with physicians to ensure quality care. Monitor and report patient progress. Qualifications: Current and unrestricted California PT license required. Minimum of 1 year of experience. Current CPR certification. Valid Driver's License. Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius to see patients. Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and electronic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent rapport-building skills with patients and commitment to high-quality care. Job Types:
