Base pay range: $12.00/hr - $12.00/hr
Utilizes previous Craps experience to (1) ensure integrity of the Craps game for both the players and The Nash Casino; and (2) ensure gaming transactions, dice controls, dealing procedures, paying off winning bets and/or collecting losses, exchanging cash for chips are conducted according to game policies, procedures, and house rules, in a timely, professional, and accurate fashion. Performs all duties in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulatory requirements. Applicant must audition for this position to be considered for employment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Opened and closed assigned Craps table with precision, verifying and balancing all chips, dice, and equipment against control documentation.
Inspected dice for tampering and damage before use, ensuring compliance with gaming standards and integrity protocols.
Verified table bankrolls, chip inventories, and signed off with supervisors to ensure full accountability and game readiness.
Ensured all wagers were placed before dice were thrown and enforced strict adherence to game rules and betting limits.
Exchanged currency for chips, received fills, and distributed credits as needed, maintaining game flow and financial accuracy.
Changed dice as required, inspecting and replacing them per regulatory guidelines.
Maintained constant visual surveillance of dice, bets, and player actions to ensure game protection and prevent procedural errors or cheating.
Controlled the pace of the game to align with casino standards while accommodating both novice and experienced players.
Notified supervisors immediately of any irregularities, disputes, or concerns related to guest behavior or game outcomes.
Delivered exceptional customer service by explaining Craps rules, etiquette, and payout structures clearly and confidently.
Created a welcoming and engaging atmosphere at the table to enhance guest experience and encourage repeat play.
Assisted guests with questions about other casino offerings and referred them to appropriate staff when necessary.
Ensured full compliance with all gaming regulations, internal control policies, and state laws governing casino operations.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and conduct at all times.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience dealing craps in a large, busy, and fast‑paced casino setting.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including day, swing, late‑night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
Must pass all pre‑screening, including an in-person audition and background checks.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to move in and around the work area throughout the entire workday.
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to repeat the same movements.
Must be able to engage and interact with all guests appropriately and work well under the pressure of a fast‑paced environment.
Must be able to successfully communicate clearly on a regular basis with all co‑workers, vendors, and guests both in person and over the telephone.
Must be able to provide assistance and information in a professional and accurate manner.
Must be able to access and interpret information on computer screens.
Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted and can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and respond to visual and aural cues.
Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye‑hand coordination.
