Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Registered Nurse) Location: Lancaster, SC 29720 (South Carolina nursing jobs) Unit: Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) – 6th Floor Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:45pm – 7:15am); 3x12s may be considered Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570–$1680 Patient Ratio: 1:6–1:7 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Float: May float within scope to similar units or sister facilities Charting System: Epic Scrub Color: Royal Blue Parking: Free on-site parking Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted) Active South Carolina or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all required) Telemetry experience and proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation/management preferred Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date Attendance at staff meetings required Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Willingness to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November) Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses, including post-surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and infectious disease cases Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions Adhere to infection control protocols and isolation precautions Float to similar units as required to meet facility needs Benefits
