Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiologic condition Performance of clinical interventions as needed Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Position Details
Practice location: OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL Case assignments: Neuro, ortho, general, and more; opportunity to perform regional blocks Shifts: Various options including 24-hour shifts when available; in-house call for 24-hour CRNAs Team and Environment
