Overview
Speech Language Pathologist, Per Diem at UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital - North (Affiliation with Select Medical). Compensation $53 per hour. Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Responsibilities
Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Design functional treatment programs enabling effective return to community activities. Educate patients, families, students, co-workers, and self. Perform other professional duties related to patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery. Coordinate treatment programs in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services and available community resources. Qualifications
Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required. Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required. Preferred Qualifications
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred. Job Details
