Medical Assistant II- Allergy-Full time, Norwood

Join Atrius Health’s Allergy team in Norwood, MA as a Medical Assistant II. Under general supervision, you will provide expanded and advanced level medical assistant duties to support clinicians and improve patient flow, satisfaction, and compliance. You will back‑up coverage for support staff and determine urgency and priority for walk‑ins, add‑on patients, and patient consults. Responsibilities

Perform direct clinical and clerical support to one or more clinicians. Identify and resolve concerns regarding patient satisfaction, patient flow, and compliance with procedures and guidelines. Determine urgency and priority of walk‑ins, add‑on patients, and patient consults to improve clinical efficiencies. Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; associate degree or medical assistant certification preferred. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required by specialty. Three years of clinical experience, including experience as a Medical Assistant; one year of experience may substitute for a bachelor’s or associate degree. Computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs; electronic medical record (EMR) experience required. Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize work throughout a busy day. Benefits
