Description Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to support our merchandising team’s Sustainability and Governance (ESG) Report data and analytics process. This role will be responsible for managing the execution and delivery of ESG-related reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality reports for both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, strong expertise in ESG and Sustainability reporting, and advanced data analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple ESG reporting projects, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and deadlines. Apply foundational knowledge of ESG and Sustainability frameworks and regulations (e.g., TCFD, SASB, GRI, ISSB, CSRD, CDP) to ensure the creation of accurate and compliant reports. Work across teams and time zones, facilitating strong communication and collaboration to drive progress and resolve issues. Utilize RACI to define roles and responsibilities within the team. Oversee the collection, analysis, and presentation of data for ESG reporting. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all project reporting. Provide accurate, relevant information to ESG ratings agencies including MSCI, Sustainalytics, and ISS, ensuring alignment with their requirements. Track and monitor progress toward key project milestones and promptly escalate risks or issues to leadership. Assist in the development of presentations and updates for internal workgroups, governance committees, and leadership meetings, ensuring clarity and alignment with overall business goals. Ensure the efficient and effective use of project management tools and methodologies, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Required Skills:
Strong project management skills including timing and action management. Foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with ESG and Sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations (e.g., TCFD, SASB, GRI, ISSB, CSRD, CDP, etc.). Experience providing accurate information to ESG ratings agencies including MSCI, Sustainalytics, and ISS.
