Continuous Care - Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Roze Room Hospice

is a leading provider of Hospice and Palliative Care, celebrating 25 years of service to Southern California communities.

Position Summary We are looking for experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses to work continuous care and/or alternate and guaranteed hours shifts. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provide care to assigned hospice patients. You will provide intermittent visits and/or shifts of skilled nursing care, performing prescribed medical treatments, including pain management and symptom control; nursing observations; teaching regarding the expected course of the disease, care techniques and other health measures to the patient, family, or other primary caregivers. You will also participate in the care plan development and implementation with other members of the hospice interdisciplinary team.

You must possess a sympathetic attitude toward caring for hospice patients and families, be able to communicate and interact well with other members of the hospice team, and be comfortable with computers and the use of electronic medical records.

Shift & Compensation Shift: 12am-8am Monday through Friday and weekends

Hourly: $35.00 – $38.00

Eligibility We welcome applications from new Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) graduates, especially those with experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), or Medical Assistant (MA).

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing.

Current LVN license within the state. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Vocational/Practical Nursing preferred.

At least one year experience as LVN/LPN.

Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable, well‑maintained transportation.
