Summary This position is responsible for cleaning hatchers, hatcher tops and hatcher room so as to maintain a low to zero bacteria and mold level. This position also empties hatcher racks back into the hatcher room at completion of clean up.
This position has a target wage of $16.50 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications. Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Cleans hatchers, hatcher tops and hatcher room to maintain a low to zero bacteria and mold level.
Empties hatcher racks back in to the hatcher room at completion of clean up.
Uses broom, shovel, mop, and scrub brushes to remove chick down and work with chemicals to effectively wash and disinfect hatchers through hand scrubbing and high pressure washer.
Follows poultry welfare guidelines.
Minimum Education
High school or equivalent
Experience Requirements
Reading and writing skills preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Exposed to temperatures ranging from 60 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and humidities up to 100%.
Exposed to chemicals, drups and vaccines; covered in MSDS training and hazardous communications.
Uses personal protective equipment as required.
Ability to lift 4 lbs. to a height of 6 feet, push 75 lbs. a distance of 75 feet and lift 20-25 lbs. to a height of 3 feet.
Must be able to work in a wet, damp, dusty (chick down) environment.
