Manufacturing and Facility Cleaning Support Technician 4 – 2nd Shift
Join MilliporeSigma as a Manufacturing and Facility Cleaning Support Technician 4 on our 2nd shift at the Cherokee Site (3300 S. Second Ave, St. Louis, MO). You will safely execute, develop new approaches, and perform support operations in a cGMP regulated environment for API manufacturing teams.
Your Role Job duties include:
Shift hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (10% shift differential)
Clean manufacturing equipment and facilities before, during and after operations
Maintain equipment, prepare cleaning solutions, restock supplies, and dispose of waste per approved procedures
Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations
Maintain required training and documentation per GMP and GDP standards
Communicate status of operations and convey concerns to the supervisor
Provide accurate records consistent with quality guidelines and complete logbooks as required
Interact with other departments and perform procedures independently as part of a team
Improve processes through application of experience and principles, complying with change control and 6S
Take action to resolve unsafe conditions
Physical Attributes
Stand for extended periods
Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Wear mask, safety shoes, gloves, Tyvek suits, respirator, and related PPE
Who You Are Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
6+ months experience working in a pharmaceutical GMP operations environment (Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT)
Preferred Qualifications
GDP experience
Prior experience in an API manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Process improvement experience
Familiarity with FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards
Computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
2+ years experience in a pharmaceutical GMP operations environment
Pay & Benefits Pay range: $24.00–$41.00 per hour (actual compensation based on location, experience, and other factors). Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, retirement contributions, and potential performance bonuses.
