Job Title: Assembler Location with zip code: Bohemia, NY, 11716 Pay Rate: $21.75/hr. on W2 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM (M-F) Duration: 6 + months Job Description
Candidate must be able to stand for the whole shift. 1st Shift Assembly (BIZJET/ BOEING) Seeking motivated individuals who are looking to join a fast paced - growing organization to work in the production department doing: Mechanical assembly of raw materials Utilize different hand tools QC Inspections Required Skills
A minimum of a high school diploma / GED 1-3 years prior assembly experience (able to use small tools i.e. torque wrench) Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics is a plus Must have the ability to lift 30 lbs. Must be able to work overtime Must be able to stand the duration of an 8-hour shift. Role & Responsibilities
Blueprint Interpretation: Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble products. Tool Operation: Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment efficiently and safely. Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of products in workstations to ensure smooth workflow. Quality Assurance: Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and record any identified defects for further analysis and correction. Rework and Repair: Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. Safety and Cleanliness: Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and work in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day. Qualifications You Must Have
HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Client will not offer sponsorship for this position. Qualifications We Prefer
Electronics assembly. Product assembly. Hand tools. Electric power tools. Dress Code
Must wear safety glasses. No sunglasses, No hats, No shorts or skirts, No sagging pants or ripped jeans. Shoes MUST be closed shoes. Manager Will Interview
Resumes must show candidates can follow instructions and procedures, as well as work quickly!! Additional Note
Candidate will be working on building lights for Boeing 737 aircrafts. Line works off of Tact Time for tracking purposes and to make sure production needs are being met. Candidate must be able to speak and read English fluently. Instructions are given off of method sheet's that are written in English Citizenship
Must be a US citizen or a perm resident with a green card. Required Education
