Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and industrial equipment. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet, contributing to overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and DOT inspections. Work on gas and diesel engines, brakes, HVAC, suspensions, and lighting systems. Maintain accurate service records and repair logs. We use Fleetio. Huge benefit if familiar. Use diagnostic tools and follow OEM service procedures. Respond to occasional breakdowns in the field (as needed). Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle. Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive or industrial equipment repair. Proficiency in working with air brake systems, HVAC systems & Electrical Components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Requirements
3+ years of experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic. Experience with both gas and diesel engines. Strong electrical and diagnostic skills. Valid driver’s license with CDL Must be able to work independently and efficiently. Own hand tools preferred (specialty tools provided). ASE certification preferred PA Emissions & Inspections certification [Category 1] Company Description
