About The Job As an Engineering Lab Technician, you will be responsible for leading engineering lab activities, including building test setups, gathering materials, and performing testing. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring product quality, improving processes, supporting research and development efforts, and providing accurate data for decision-making.
What You'll Do
Perform tests and provide test results to stakeholders
Operate test equipment and set up test stands, test chambers, and machines
Collaborate closely with engineers to execute design testing on prototypes, pilots, and other experimental units related to development projects
Coordinate calibration and maintenance of test equipment
Organize and maintain lab space, equipment, tools, and supplies using 5S methodology and Lean principles
Actively identify, suggest, and implement improvements for test lab processes and equipment through the application of Lean principles and proper engineering practices
Contribute to improve test operations efficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications
Associate's in Technical Engineering or a related technical field
2+ years of relevant testing experience
Experience with testing, mechanics, and general laboratory equipment (data acquisition, multimeter, oscilloscope, analog and digital meters, and similar)
Strong mechanical aptitude
