Accurus Aerospace Corporation is hiring for the role of CNC Machine Operator I - Tool Crib Attendant. This position is located in Redmond, WA with a Monday to Friday schedule, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr Responsibilities

Analyze job orders, engineering drawings, and other technical specifications to accurately identify tooling requirements Collect and assemble all necessary tools, fixtures, etc. needed to complete a job in production Sharpen tooling using grinders and other powered hand tools Remove and replace dull cutting tools following designated safety protocol and instructions Stock and organize materials and fixtures within the designated storage area May issue purchase order requests for low-stock or unavailable items Enter inventory use into ERP for accurate tooling inventory records Set up and operate automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines Accurately locate/identify the X, Y, Z axis on vertical and horizontal machines Perform daily point checks on assigned machines and report concerns to supervisor; may initiate maintenance requests if appropriate Meet departmental/company goals and objectives promptly (e.g., efficiencies, scrap control, time motion and setup time reductions) Interpret product blueprints, drawings, sketches, setup sheets and other work instructions Use scales, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure tolerances Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines Listen to machines during operation to detect irregular sounds; adjust machines or notify supervision as appropriate Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when programming is faulty or malfunctioning Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement Lift workpieces to machines manually or with hoists/cranes Enter control instructions into machine control units to start operation Monitor and adjust coolant systems as needed Transfer commands from servers to CNC modules via network links Assist in training new operators and deburr machined parts as required Operate forklift if on-site certification is applicable Follow all safety policies and use PPE as required Communicate verbally in English and follow verbal and written instructions Perform other tasks as required Regular attendance on site is required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing role utilizing CNC machines or similar automated equipment; apprenticeship or vocational training may be considered in lieu of paid experience Experience reading and interpreting shop blueprints and technical information Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions) Experience using measuring equipment such as mics, calipers, height gauges History of stable employment with limited gaps or frequent job changes Completion of internal Level I Operator training and periodic retraining or recertification Experience using cranes, forklifts, and related material handling equipment is preferred Work environment and physical demands

Regularly stand and walk; may stand for long periods Regularly lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance Occasional overhead reaches; climb stairs or ladders; occasionally kneel or crouch Frequent handling of tools and parts; color recognition for sensor indicators Visual acuity to read gauges and measuring devices Manufacturing shop environment with noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures; PPE required Compliance and notices
