Job Overview
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two LNG trains, two LNG Storage Tanks, one LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located at State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.
Job Summary In this role, you will lead construction automation efforts for complex projects, using database management, programming skills, and 3D tools. You will establish and administer the portfolio of construction automation applications on the jobsite and data requirements. You will review performance and recommend adjustments to tailor solutions to support strategy and compliance.
Major Responsibilities
Provides automation support to teams on project, including setup, training, application and process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software’s and applications
Arranges, prepares, and conducts meetings, workshops, and presentations as required
Assists with executing the project automation plan
Evaluates and coordinates the implementation of new automation modules and tools
Tests and supports data integration of new releases of production software/programs
Customizes applications as required by customer
Prepares user guides and training material and delivers training
Develops performance curves, metrics, trackers, and user feedback to show trends and use in improvements
Applies knowledge of database management, programming skills, and 3D tools, to support team and project construction planning, work packaging, progress reporting, material management, turnover/completions, workforce management and timekeeping
Coordinate construction requirements with project IT lead/manager to ensure they’re incorporated in the project automation plan
Education And Experience
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge And Skills
Experience with computer programming languages
Ability to generate reports through Power BI
Familiarity with SQL
Familiarity with Power Apps
Familiarity with TEAMWorks is preferred
