Toledo, OH Due to MSG's continued growth in our Civil/Municipal Division, a new opening is available for a Civil Project Engineer! Key Responsibilities: Work in conjunction with other licensed engineers assisting with the design and preparation of a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, water/wastewater, and community projects throughout the Midwest. Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors including Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, etc. Perform and check various design calculations and performing various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package. Prepare front-end feasibility documents, due diligence reports, and zoning studies, project development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates, and detailed design plans. Perform QA/QC reviews. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise: Practical experience in design and plan preparation of site development projects. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Experience with industry design standards. Understanding of guidelines and specifications. Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D grading is preferred. Proficiency in independent preparation of Hydraulic/Hydrologic reports is preferred. The ability to engage reviewing agencies while preparing technical designs and addressing comments is a critical part of our process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating and coordinating with review agencies. Professional Engineer's license in the state of Ohio. Additional states will be considered as well.
