Operational Intel Analyst – TS/SCI w Polygraph
Salary: $70000 - $78000 / yr* + Benefits Package** JOB LOCATION: Northern Virginia START DATE: Immediate PAY: $70,000 – $78,000+ / yr* + Benefits Plan** * Mission-dependent overtime compensation opportunities are available **Benefits Plan Includes: – Medical, Dental, Vision coverage – PTO and Paid holidays – Employer 401(k) matching plan JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Intelligence Analyst will produce objective analysis of security risks to customer assets by assessing knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations in order to inform, educate and enable decision-makers. Duties include the following: – Manage a client account and work closely with customer subject matter experts in order to formulate risk assessments that address threats and security issues of interest to the customer base – Produce an array of analytical threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments; will be expected to employ methodological and technical approaches to assess security risks driven by increasingly diverse and shifting CT, CI, and political instability threats – Conduct classified and open source research – Participate in and conduct comprehensive physical security surveys and interviews with subject matter experts – Provide expertise in threat analysis and/or vulnerabilities gained through previous work experience or academic training or an understanding of risk management – Prepare written assessments using all-source intelligence and provide recommendations and requirements to improve customer decision-making – Develop a working knowledge of physical and technical security issues associated with overseas diplomatic facilities – Develop and implement analytic frameworks/methodologies to address complex, cross-cutting issues – Modify assessments and products when new, relevant information is presented or discovered – Support long and short-term requirements on an on-call basis – Be willing to perform other ad hoc duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: – MUST HAVE a TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Security Clearance prior to applying – Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in intelligence or a related field conducting all-source analytical work – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience – Must be able to communicate effectively at a high level in both written and oral communication – Ability to perform in-depth research, drawing on a wide range of sources (biographic, cultural, historical, political, and social) to reach an understanding of an individual or group – Ability to effectively express thoughts verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences – Ability to research, conceptualize, and propose new, security-relevant topics for analytical review – Ability to incorporate insights and findings for complex issues into well-crafted, objective intelligence assessments that balance customer needs with Customer security objectives – Must have the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, experts, and customers as appropriate, and use these relationships to obtain and share information of interest – Have the ability to perform multiple tasks and change focus quickly as demands change – Must complete customer-required training upon offer of employment – Experience with the most recent version of Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based applications) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: – Prior US Military preferred – Have military experience in an intelligence role – Have prior OCONUS experience LISTEN: Stars & Stripes “Force for Hire” Podcast –
