TowerPinkster, an innovative architecture, engineering, and interior design firm based in the Midwest with offices in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky, is seeking a talented Project Manager. The Project Manager oversees projects from conception through construction and completion, ensuring they meet design requirements, schedule, contractual obligations, and budget goals. Responsibilities include understanding project scope, planning, organizing and leading the team, and controlling project parameters. Key focus areas are project profitability, client satisfaction, and business development. This position is based in Kalamazoo or Grand Rapids, Michigan.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS + RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate on fee proposals, negotiations, and team selection. Assist in developing project fees based on various factors. Contribute to proposal development, scope definition, scheduling, and contracts. Prepare contracts in collaboration with the Principal. Participate in design presentations and reviews. Assist with technical decisions with the design team. Coordinate with outside consultants, including selection and fee negotiation. Create and manage the Project Management Plan. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget changes. Conduct effective meetings and report progress. Monitor project performance and workload. Negotiate additional service fees for scope changes. Conduct site visits as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. OUR CULTURE

Coordinate training and development of team members. Mentor and guide project team members. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in architecture; Master’s preferred. 10+ years of experience in architecture and project management. Strong knowledge of architecture, construction, and project workflow. Knowledge of building codes and materials. Business management experience preferred. Experience with construction administration and knowledge of construction practices.
