The Senior Customer Service Associate is responsible for positively impacting the customer experience by effectively training and mentoring other Customer Service Associates and Customer Service Associate Trainees, and providing feedback to the store management team regarding their performance. The Senior Customer Service Associate also works as a member of the store sales team to lead a positive customer and brand experience, and promote sales. The Senior Customer Service Associate is a keyholder and must be proficient in opening and closing procedures in addition to running registers and maintaining sales floor standards. The position involves delivering customer service with respect, dignity, and building loyalty to the Goodwill brand. The role is a member of the Retail Team. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette. Role model, train, and mentor other Customer Service Associates and Trainees on engaging customers and learning technical skills needed to meet revenue and company goals. Communicate priorities and productivity goals to team members and maintain accountability. Provide store management with productivity updates and proactively address performance issues. Process register transactions, handle money, count down drawers, and ask every customer for a Round-Up donation, aiming for a 40% transaction average monthly. Serve as a keyholder, proficient in opening and closing procedures, ensuring proper security and alarm setup. Engage customers effectively—greet, focus on their needs, maintain store cleanliness, and thank them for supporting initiatives. Handle customer concerns, manage register lines, and use phone etiquette appropriately. Perform duties as Barcoder, Processor, and Donation-Utility Associate as needed. Stock and maintain the sales floor, recover standards, and organize merchandise and furniture. Establish or identify prices via merchandise markings or assistance. Utilize store systems, including phones and paging systems, for announcements and communication. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including cleaning bathrooms, floors, and windows. Maintain a professional appearance and wear the company uniform. Attend regularly and perform all other essential duties as assigned. Benefits Overview

Must be honest, reliable, enthusiastic, accurate, and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and occasional long hours. Physical Demands and Work Environment
Flexibility to assist in various store areas as needed. Vision corrected to within normal limits. Ability to work in a hectic environment with occasional high stress. Education/Experience
High School diploma or GED preferred; excellent math skills are a plus.
