Behavior Therapist/Technician For Autism (ABA)

is a position in the ABA department to service children and families throughout NJ. Responsibilities
Provide ABA services to children in-home under the supervision of a BCBA. Implement treatment plans for children with ASD (including writing session notes and collecting data). Training is available! Requirements
Have access to reliable transportation Have access to a mobile device for data collection and session notes Pass a criminal background check Comply with all HIPAA (confidentiality) laws as it relates to Protected Health Information Be reliable, punctual, organized, and a self starter Must be creative, enthusiastic, and a team player Qualifications
At least 6 months of home-based ABA experience RBT certification or 1 year experience working with children with ASD preferred High school diploma and at least one year of experience working with children with ASD Display excellent clinical competence and judgment; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with parents and other caregivers Respect for cultural diversity and ability to adapt ABA procedures accordingly Excellent written and verbal skills; detail oriented Strong leadership and management capabilities Willingness to accept supervision and guidance and address any deficits Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is strongly preferred but not required 1 year experience providing direct services to autistic or developmentally disabled populations Must undergo a criminal background check Must be capable of manual tasks including exerting 10-30 lbs. of force, kneeling, bending, balancing, reaching, and crouching to provide services Bonus Points
