and acts as a Technical and Operational Liaison between LGEUS PRI Organization and PRI's customer companies (e.g., LG Energy Solution), LGEUS HQ and LGE PRI HQ at the US PRI project site. Responsibilities include managing information flow for escalated service cases to proper LGEUS & HQ personnel to facilitate timely solutions and countermeasures in support of PRI's customer companies. The role involves handling sensitive proprietary information including software, tools and technical documentation from the factory for dissemination to PRI's customer companies. It also includes facilitating knowledge transfer sessions, creating technical documents and providing relevant training. Regular factory visits to manage matters face to face with appropriate personnel are expected, as well as attending factory site visits for PRI's customer companies jobsites with applicable HQ personnel. The role supports PRI's customer companies via phone, email and onsite visits to resolve challenging site issues. It includes testing and verification of system solutions for all LG PRI equipment and controls, with documentation and knowledge transfer of important discoveries. Aftermarket process development, implementation and improvement utilizing metrics to achieve efficiency and results improvements across internal and external channels. It also involves managing day to day field operations of all Aftermarket Field Technical Specialists, providing expert level product knowledge, problem resolution and technical expertise, and training/mentoring of all team members. Coordinates all LGEUS & LGE PRI HQ technical knowledge sharing to facilitate timely resolution of field related issues. Responsibilities Operation and management of the PRI's project site, including equipment set-up and production, customer service, safety management, and general affairs Manages day to day activities of PRI's customer companies Utilizes advanced metrics to analyze, develop and implement process development Manages expert level LGEUS/HQ technical knowledge share in resolving outstanding field issues and implementing field processes and procedures Responsible for professional technical development of all field technical specialists Provide guidance and advice as a technical subject matter expert to ensure Field Service issues are brought from inception to resolution Serves as technical liaison between LGEUS PRI Organization and PRI's customer companies Manage information flow and knowledge transfer sessions for PRI's customer companies Able to understand, articulate, communicate and respond to detailed technical issues in a timely and concise manner Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of LGEUS PRI Organization supply battery manufacturing machines and parts for electric vehicles Provide expert level Product Support to internal and external customers by researching and providing solutions to challenging field service issues Manages Installation & Service Manual Validation Process – Verification of manuals via testing in Quality/Training Lab to improve literature for internal and external technical specialists Coordinate with Technical Writing team to ensure PRI's customer companies are complete, consistent, concise and unambiguous Accompany PRI's customer companies factory engineers in field visits to resolve escalated field technical issues Perform testing and evaluate equipment and controls solutions in LGEUS PRI Organization and document findings in distributable format for internal and external customers Perform EV battery machine set-up with LGEUS PRI & technical team engineers and partners Communicate directly with PRI's customer companies' production department to coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting in the production area Daily Production Data Analysis and Report Preparation Preparation of documents related to CS operation and facility maintenance after facility AT, and initial response in case of issue PRIX & PRIX-US, manages the personnel of partner companies and shares equipment status and issues Maintain records of all preventive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks Qualifications Bachelors Degree with 5+ years experience in the automation field or in a technical support role or in site management including operation and safety Bilingual in English and Korean Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group Ability to troubleshoot in depth service issues via phone and onsite Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures Ability to write reports and business correspondence Ability to read and edit technical drawings/prints Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, clients and customers Ability to work in a technically dominated environment: engineering, contracting and construction trades and able to absorb and commit technical information to knowledge quickly Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team Ability to effectively communicate ideas and properly describe problems and solutions Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks Well-developed planning, organization, analytical, and decision making skills Proficient computer skills, such as Excel and PowerPoint Ability to produce clear, timely and concise documentation and have well developed problem solving skills Compensation Recruiting Range: $90,000—$120,000 USD Benefits Offered
