The gas compressor field service team in Mabank maintains, overhauls and restages Solar’s centrifugal gas compressors at customer sites, worldwide. Overview: Travel to customer facilities both domestically & internationally to perform maintenance & repairs to Solar’s natural gas compressor product line. Perform necessary job functions to facilitate the needs of the gas compressor field service business unit. Principal Accountabilities

Understand and comply with Solar and customer HSSE (Safety) policies and procedures. Booking travel, transportation, & accommodations using the BCD travel app. Maintain a corporate credit card account. Complete site reports & expense reports. Domestic & International travel when required to customer sites. (may include weekends & holidays) Professionally represent yourself & Solar, ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded. Ensure safe site practices and involvement in equipment LOTO. Utilize special tooling specific to Solar’s gas compressor fleet. Active participation in Solar's INI process. Job Description: Travel when required to customer sites and complete compressor repair activities. Examples of typical repair activities are as shown below: Wet-Seal capsule exchanges. Dry gas seal & separation seal replacements. Thrust & journal bearing exchanges. Module extractions & installations. Candidates must be able to proactively recognize electrical/mechanical abnormalities, as well as potential safety issues, and take approved & appropriate preventive action. Provide verbal & written reports to the customer or relevant manager, related to projects or daily work. Ensure communication & reporting is clear, concise & effective. Remain well-informed of pending work and personnel required to complete projects. Utilize sound judgment when analyzing problems. Solve problems with little or no supervision in a timely and cost-effective manner. The compressor field repair specialist will maintain an offshore medical & survival certificate and any other required training certifications. Ensure compliance with customer work permit systems. Participates by attending general safety and toolbox safety meetings and completing all required safety training including CLMS training. Safe operation of hand, pneumatic, and battery powered tools in customer environments. Measuring critical dimensions using micrometers, calipers, depth mics, etc. The chosen candidate is expected to: Capable of reading BOM, assembly planning, engineered drawings Organize & maintain compressor tooling returning from customer sites. Remain dedicated to safety & attentive to potential hazards. Able to learn quickly and retain knowledge across multiple compressor models. Committed to working in a team environment & maintaining a positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications

Previous field experience as a Field Service Representative and/or factory experience in the overhaul or assembly of Solar's range of gas compressors. 2-3 years previous experience in the overhaul or repair of turbomachinery. Pending on level of experience, candidates may be required to attend on the job training in the Mabank Factory. Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Experience using power equipment, bench tools, and hand tools. Experience following documented instructions including engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Able to travel international and domestic. Clean Driving Record (this includes no moving violations within the last 12 months, no "2 point" violations within the last 3 years, and no DUI's within the last 7 years). Candidate must successfully complete a physical exam and obtain OEUK (offshore) certification by Solar-approved physician. Able obtain a legal Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC). Able to pass initial and random drug and alcohol testing required for DOT and DISA compliance.
