What You’ll Do
GFT’s Transportation Group invites a Project Manager, Roadway to lead roadway, municipal, transit, and aviation projects in El Paso, Texas. The role drives delivery, quality, business growth, and team development. Responsibilities
Maintain close relationships with discipline leads, project managers, controls staff, and construction personnel. Oversee and manage overall engineering, design, and delivery on conventional and design‑build roadway and highway projects. Ensure technical quality and alignment with design criteria on all projects. Identify new business opportunities and actively participate in proposals and client engagement throughout project life cycles. Leverage professional networks to grow the business and support bid preparation. Mentor project staff, participate in hiring, and serve as a functional manager for engineering teams, including career development and performance reviews. Provide technical expertise and ensure the highest quality engineering to meet all design criteria requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field. 10+ years of design and project management delivery experience on heavy transportation infrastructure projects. Experience meeting operational business goals, client management, win strategies, and bid preparation. Proven track record of successful delivery for road/highway projects according to TxDOT standards – conventional and design/build project execution. Professional Engineering License in the State of Texas required. Compensation
Salary range: $110,000 – $140,000, dependent on experience and geographic location. Benefits
