About the Role We are seeking a hands-on, energetic Operations Supervisor to lead our Assembly Department team in a dynamic, fast-paced food production environment. We are a 24/7 facility and will require schedule flexibility. Responsibilities Supervise thirty plus union employees responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging food items in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring that meals are accurately prepared and presented for customers or further processing. Supervise daily operations to ensure timely and accurate production and flight catering. Organize, schedule, and oversee shift staff to meet labor productivity targets and minimize overtime. Conduct daily team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety reminders. Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and food safety standards, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and GMP. Monitor safety performance and proactively address issues to maintain a safe work environment. Identify, document, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Required Skills 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food production or food service environment. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, etc.). Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
