CapEx Associate Buyer
Job Purpose and Impact
The CapEx Associate Buyer, will actively contribute to the build and execution plans of Cargill’s ongoing capital project strategy. In this role you will support North American sourcing for Capital Construction project activities. You will coordinate and execute low to medium complex procurement requirements to provide inputs to the category team. Key Accountabilities
Support a team of professional procurement sourcers on the Construction/ Capital Procurement team and manage the sourcing of services for construction projects.
Execute medium complex requests for sourcing process.
Drive implementation of local sourcing decisions and support implementation of North America sourcing decisions.
Negotiate low‑complexity sourcing packages or contract terms.
Build and apply a comprehensive understanding of local, stakeholder and procurement landscape.
Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of services.
Administer transactions associated with obtaining goods and services.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge or experience in the procurement industry.
Knowledge or experience in the construction industry.
Compensation Information The expected salary for this position is $47,000- $79,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
Benefits Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
