Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in preparing survey proposals and manage budgets.
Manage field crews and maintain staff schedules and deliverables.
Prepare accurate, complete, and value-added work products and perform complex survey computations.
Perform construction staking calculations and analyze and review work of survey crews and technicians.
Reduce field data utilizing field codes and stringing (field to office data collection).
Prepare cut sheets, tentative maps, parcel maps, final maps, record of survey, and ALTA maps.
Interpret design plans for construction staking calculations and coordinate with engineering staff to ensure proper interpretation.
Analyze title reports and legal descriptions along with necessary map and deed research.
Assist in boundary analysis and prepare plats and legal descriptions.
Work closely with the Director of Surveying, Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
Requirements
Land Surveyor in training (LSIT) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
Proven experience in land surveying, with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble.
Strong data analysis skills for interpreting survey data accurately.
