to join our Process Excellence Warehouse team in
Mobile, Alabama . As Business Owner Outbound, you will be responsible to ensure that process and IT systems are well connected in the frame of the ARP Planning, Supply, and Logistics deployment journey in Mobile (US). In that respect you will be designing lean and robust logistics processes and translating them into clear requirements for the development of the IT solutions. We are a transnational team of specialized Engineers in Supply Chain & Logistics with diverse backgrounds in terms of experience, education and skills that are based in Hamburg, Toulouse and Mobile. We as PIXLW (Process Excellence Warehouse Team) are the central team for standards, projects & strategy for all Airbus Commercial Warehouses worldwide. Our area of responsibility encompasses the Warehouses in Germany, France, Spain, UK, China and the US. Nearby on "Airbus Way" you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond. Business Owner ARP (70%) As a Business Owner, you will be responsible for the governance, compliance, and ROI of our Distribution tools and processes. Your main activities will be: Exchange and align on business requirements with Business Owners and focal points from other functions, mainly Manufacturing Engineering, Supply, Logistics, Quality and Finance, for gap requests impacting several functions Analyze the Business impacts and establish proper risk mitigation plans. Prepare GAP Analysis (AS‑IS & T0‑BE implementation @ G5). Execute successfully the mitigation plans and report any deviation. Animate the Business Community: you will contribute to the design phase, to ensure good business understanding of the requirements. Participate effectively in the definition, prioritization and planning of new developments with the SAFe development teams, by assessing and providing business value (Business Improvement / Solution Improvement classification). You will participate in all ceremonies. Support the business acceptance tests of new developments (content + results) and finally validate the solutions provided, according to the need. Verify all relevant criteria for successful implementation are fulfilled. Run proper communication and engagement of the relevant functions and validate the corresponding trainings' content. Support the process acceptance and impact analysis. Ensure the transformation process is properly managed. 2. Distribution process: customer support/focal point (30%) Driving Operational Excellence: Actively engage with local Warehouse teams to pinpoint and resolve pain points and process bottlenecks. Standardizing Distribution Processes: Ensure the convergence of all Logistics routines to a consistent standard across programs. Facilitating Collaboration: Build and maintain strong links with key supply chain stakeholders (planning, logistics, transport, procurement) and foster a strong supply community through dedicated events and digital platforms. Ensuring Data Accuracy: Support the consolidation and verification of key performance indicators (KPIs) like Missing Parts and On‑Time Delivery (OTD), ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Leading Strategic Initiatives: Ensure alignment with major transformation projects like Optiflow and ARP, and actively promote the exchange of best practices across the organization. Process Governance: Lead the creation, maintenance, and surveillance of all Supply industrial processes and methods. Be accountable for managing audit findings and implementing long‑term corrective actions. Transformation Leadership: Guide and oversee involvement in major transformation projects, including the ARP project, ensuring robust and effective deployment. You will accompany your local customer (Process Operator Manager Representative (POM Rep), which is the link between the Process Operators within the business and the process management team) to the PMR (Process Management reviews) and be the point of contact on‑site. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Supply Chain or a related discipline Master's degree (Preferred) 10 years of work experience, including 5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management or Project Management. A solid understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain, manufacturing processes, and production management. Demonstrated experience leading lean/continuous improvement projects with tangible results. You should have a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and challenging the status quo. Operational experience in implementing and optimizing industrial systems from conception phase to process management. Proven experience managing complex projects with cross‑functional teams, including financial aspects. Hands‑on experience with SAP is essential. Extended knowledge required.
