Integrated Logistics Support Team Lead – Submarine Combat Systems
SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Integrated Logistics Support Team Lead – Submarine Combat Systems for the Submarine Combat System Common Infrastructure Program (CIS).
The candidate will be responsible for team leadership in the development and delivery of high-quality electronic technical documentation, including technical manuals, installation instructions, and system notes.
Overview SEACORP is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Team Lead to join our Submarine Combat System CIS program. The candidate will lead logistics and technical writing professionals to produce accurate and compliant documentation for submarine combat systems.
Responsibilities
Leadership of logistics and technical writing professionals to produce accurate and compliant documentation for submarine combat systems.
Oversee the creation and delivery of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and related S1000D content across multiple platforms.
Coordinate with engineering, systems integration, and project management teams to gather technical data and manage content updates.
Participate in feature design reviews and implementation demonstrations.
Provide feedback on the operational impact of new features to software developers, systems engineers and testers.
Resolve discrepancies and ensure content completeness.
Translate complex system information into accessible content suitable for end-users (operators and technicians).
Drive continuous improvement in documentation quality, consistency, and usability.
Represent the logistics team in project meetings, TIMs, CCBs, and customer interactions.
Support configuration management and version control of all deliverables.
Provide technical input on procedures, troubleshooting steps, preventive maintenance, and safety protocols.
Qualifications Education:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Equivalent military training and experience may be substituted.
Experience:
3+ years of experience with U.S. Navy submarine systems, preferably in combat systems.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Strong working knowledge of ILS and technical publication standards (e.g., S1000D, DEF(AUST)100, MIL-STD-40051).
Understanding of system lifecycle and configuration/change management.
Ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it into user-friendly documentation.
