Hotel General Manager As our Guest General Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of property operations from guest satisfaction and team development to financial performance and brand standards. In addition to overseeing daily operations, you’ll play a key leadership role by onboarding and mentoring new General Managers across our portfolio.

Responsibilities

Provide the Revenue Management Department with market analysis of competitors’ rates and forecast local market conditions.

Support sales efforts as directed by management and the corporate sales organization.

Train front desk staff to perform selling techniques for current promotions.

Provide input to the annual budget by forecasting changes in operating expenses and labor cost.

Use business forecasts to manage costs by scheduling labor and controlling other expenses.

Adjust controllable expenses to maintain profit margins.

Execute company policies for purchasing.

Manage employees to deliver guest services and quality products.

Train and develop employees in accordance with HR programs and guidelines.

Handle difficult situations involving upset guests and respond to complaint letters.

Maintain satisfactory Medallia scores and take corrective action.

Administer company HR policies, payroll, and personnel transactions.

Conduct wage surveys to ensure competitive wages.

Conduct business in a professional manner and comply with all company policies.

Maintain satisfactory employee satisfaction scores and manage turnover.

Ensure a satisfactory guest experience and protect the company’s physical assets.

Manage preventative maintenance and quick‑fix programs.

Maintain satisfactory product quality scores.

Qualifications

5 years as Hotel General Manager or other hotel management role.

Preferred Skills

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods at a time.

May be required to do light lifting or carrying.

Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment and in stressful situations.

Must respond to multiple task interruptions and still provide service to internal and external customers professionally and courteously.

May be required to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.

Must be flexible in work hours/days.

Must possess a valid driver’s license.
