The Category Sourcing Manager – Commercial Product Line & Finished Goods leads strategic sourcing initiatives to align supply base development with Rinnai America’s business growth and profitability goals. This role partners internally to identify and manage suppliers for both new and existing products, focusing on cost optimization, innovation, quality, and delivery. This position plays a key role in shaping a forward-looking strategy roadmap and reports directly to the Strategic Sourcing Director.
This position is located at 103 International Drive Peachtree City, GA with a hybrid schedule.

Essential Responsibilities
Lead and oversee sourcing activities for the Commercial and Finished Goods categories, managing total sourcing spend and owning supplier relationship
Formulate and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing costs, quality, and supplier performance across assigned categories.
Analyze spending data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement initiatives to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
Lead Sourcing projects from initiation to execution and drive cost productivities
Drive sourcing strategies aligned with product and technology initiatives, including active participation in New Product Development (NPD) efforts for the commercial platform
Lead comprehensive RFQ and bid processes to secure competitive pricing, ensure timely execution aligned with project goals, and select qualified suppliers that meet Rinnai’s strategic sourcing and performance standards.
Conduct robust make-versus-buy evaluations using RFQ data to support strategic sourcing decisions and efficiency improvements.
Lead and facilitate VAVE initiatives with suppliers to identify and implement cost productivity opportunities and continuous improvement.
Manage ERP-related processes, pricing and other commercial terms requirements to ensure seamless change management processes within the organization
Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing
Oversee the entire supplier contract lifecycle, from creation through negotiation, to ensure maximum value and minimized risk for the organization
Successfully lead sourcing processes through all phase gates—identify critical success factors, select suppliers aligned with new product needs, and manage other expectation related to Program management team
Establish strong communication and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across product management, program management, engineering, quality, and operations teams
Occasional travel required, up to 20%, to support supplier engagement and strategic sourcing activities.
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support sourcing excellence and business priorities.
Knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering
10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
Proven and demonstrated Sourcing leadership experience in an organization with diverse product base (preferably gas appliances).
Demonstrated experience managing multiple highly technical projects at the same time
Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen in evaluating new suppliers for new opportunities
Demonstrates ability to assess and mitigate risks in the global supply chain
Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sourcing function
Demonstrated experience working with senior management in developing and implementing strategic priorities for all business segments and channels.
