Overview
Nuclear Quality Inspector Quality Receipt Inspector Location: Middletown, PA. Job Type and Duration: 6+ months (4) 10 hour days/week. Per Diem if from out of town. Independent inspection, evaluation and reporting on the acceptability and safety of materials received for use in a nuclear power plant. Responsible for performing receipt inspections in accordance with site processes and procedures and making recommendations for actions. Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Oversees process of and ensures that correct receipt inspection is performed for each type of material received at the plant. Manages thorough and timely completion of review. Assesses engineering requirements, tests and analyzes materials received for use in a nuclear plant to determine whether they are of acceptable quality for intended use. Properly documents findings in written analytical report and maintains records. Performs receipt inspection in compliance with site processes and procedures; rejects materials or parts if determined to be substandard or otherwise non-compliant with applicable regulations. Determines if substitute materials or parts have the \'critical parts characteristics\' necessary for approval for intended use. Maintains receipt inspector Level II certification. Identifies need for and conducts audits and assessments of any area of the Supply Organization to assure Quality Assurance program compliance and procedural adherence. Analyzes deficiencies identified during receipt inspections to ensure they are entered into the Corrective Action Process (CAP) process. May recommend solutions. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent plus minimum six years of related experience OR a bachelor's degree plus minimum two years of related experience. Quality control / receipt inspector Level II certification, OR must pass the company-provided training to obtain the Level II certification within 60 days of employment in position. Familiar with Work Control, Planning and Maintenance functions as it relates to Supply Operations. Preferred Qualifications

This is a very specialized role and they are looking for someone that can come in running and already done this or something similar. They’re restarting up a nuclear plant, they’re restaffing the QC dept; once it gets there they have a rigorous qualification for 40% of their parts. Review, inspect, verify documentation, create records that will last lifetime of the plant, etc. Ensure the quality, accuracy of the part, all records, etc. It’ll have a clerical side. Working knowledge of measuring tools, pass an eye exam. 4, 10 schedule. They will be working with their fulltime quality person who is currently in training. They would like someone that has done this that can qualify quickly or has the proper education to expedite their ability to perform the required QC. Do need HS diploma or equivalent. Would really like to have someone with 2 years in the QC world. They want to stress they would really like someone with a QC background. They are not opposed to per diem. About ESPO Corporation
