Overview
Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking Experienced Quality Control Inspectors for its large enclosure fabrication facility. The role involves day-to-day inspection, documenting quality issues per our process, and presenting data in a statistical format. Training will be provided with potential for growth within the company. Responsibilities
Inspect parts and assemblies on the manufacturing floor and document quality issues. Convert collected data into reports to support training and process improvement strategies. Participate in on-floor inspection of enclosures and tanks and assist with data analysis. Engage with engineers, vendors, and updates to SOPs as needed. Support day-to-day activities that may vary and may include discussing issues with engineers and updating documentation. Qualifications
At least 1 year of quality inspection experience; strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel (report writing and data analysis). Basic math skills including fractions; ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely, accurate manner. Ability to work on the manufacturing floor with good eye for detail. Shift availability: 1st and 2nd shifts with flexible schedules and overtime potential. Industry: UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures. Location: Milwaukee, WI. Employment Details
