Location

Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 226,570 and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations.

Primary Duties

Support multiple attorneys and paralegals in the Civil Litigation and Constitutional Defense Division who handle cases from across State government. Primary duties include creating, formatting and proofing memoranda, letters and pleadings in federal and state courts, scheduling meetings, corresponding with the public, clients and the courts, creating and maintaining electronic case files, managing incoming and outgoing mail and phone calls, assisting visitors and other related duties as assigned. Working after office hours will be required at times.

Minimum Qualifications

Enthusiasm for public service is a must. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent grammar and proofreading skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Must have willingness and ability to learn new programs and processes and cross-train in other support staff positions. Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment. A minimum of three years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of experience and training, is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with PACER and the iCourt filing system preferred. Familiarity with legal case management systems preferred.
