Join the Thomasville, GA, Evoqua Team Production Supervisor - Third Shift
(7:30 PM - 6:00 AM), responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operational activities and Lean Manufacturing practices. Manufacturing large scale wastewater Treatment Plant equipment (Carbone & Stainless Steel) This role ensures adherence to production schedules, implementation of lean manufacturing practices, and effective inventory control. Supervisor plays a key role maintaining high-quality standards, and promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability. Onsite Position: 1828 Metcalf Ave. Thomasville, GA 31792 We offer a full benefits package to include Flex Time Off, health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and other additional miscellaneous benefits Responsibilities: People, Safety, Budget Lead, overseeing and coordinating staff and schedules - roughly 25 direct reports Supervise and coordinate daily activities of fabrication and welding teams to meet production goals and quality standards. Working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure material availability and accuracy, minimizing downtime and excess stock. Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols Team Management: Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance. Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively. Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best. Supervisors often encounter changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Being adaptable and flexible is crucial. Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on organizational goals and guidelines. Qualifications: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: SAP and Workday experience Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range.
