Overview The position of Surveillance Shift Manager is responsible and accountable for supervising Surveillance Department team members. Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact:
Supervises a team of Surveillance Supervisors, Operators and/or Technicians in performance of their duties on an assigned shift. Responsible for supervising the monitoring and operations of CCTV and alarm systems. Supervision of staff including shift scheduling and maintaining proper staffing levels across all shifts. Supervises department team members and procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure safety and security. Review surveillance department actions, personnel, and processes with the Manager. Understand all department operational logistics and supervise, monitor, and report as appropriate. Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Skills To Help You Succeed Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results. Ability to solve routine problems. Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods. Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure. Ability to work all shifts on a rotating basis. Qualifications Must-Haves: Four (4) to eight (8) years’ experience in table games and casino surveillance. Two (2) year associate’s degree or technical degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. You will be exposed to an environment with alcohol and smoking and must be able to work in such conditions. Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for long periods, work in confined spaces with low lighting, lift up to 30 lbs, have excellent vision and hearing, and stand/walk for 30% of the time.
