Operations/Fab related Roles

(Please note that Operations/Fab related roles will primarily be located in Phoenix, Arizona or Camas, Washington.) Process Integration Engineer (PID) Yield Excellence Engineer (YED) – Focus on defect inspection methodology to deduce root causes by collaborating with stakeholders and innovating techniques on the production line. Process Engineer (PE) – Deliver robust, data-driven manufacturing through experimental design, statistical methods; collaborate with suppliers to address technology gaps and drive continuous improvement in stability, quality, yield, productivity, and safety. CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) EPI (Epitaxy) DIF (Diffusion) WET (Wet Clean) ME (Metrology) Etch (Wet and Dry) LIT (Lithography) Equipment Engineer (EE) – Maintain tool performance in a cleanroom; troubleshoot alarms; install/qualify new tools; improve uptime; manage vendor relationships; coordinate with facilities, vendors, and manufacturing teams. Intelligent Manufacturing Engineer (MFG) – Ensure timely delivery of high-quality wafers via Smart Scheduling and Precise Dispatching; system optimization, productivity improvements, and quality defense enhancements. Advanced Material Handling System (AMHS) Engineer – Focus on automated wafer transfers; improve Delivery Time Accuracy and stocker dispatching systems to optimize lot movement and cycle times. Quality Management Engineer (AQE) – Support world-class quality systems; monitor wafer fabrication processes; apply statistical methods and predictive analytics; ensure compliance with global quality standards. Product Engineer (PES) – Analyze yield and process issues; identify process and quality “sweet spots”; perform layout analyses and failure analyses to pinpoint issues. Mask Process/Equipment Engineer (EBO) – Ensure performance and reliability of photomask tools; manage installation/maintenance; develop inline monitoring systems. Central Start-Up (CST) Tool Install Engineer – Support installation of equipment; site assessments; installation planning; project management; identify bottlenecks and propose solutions. Industrial Safety & Health (ISEP) Engineer – Promote workplace safety and environmental sustainability; implement safety protocols; evaluate hazards; refine high-risk SOPs. Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Engineer – TSMC DevOps focus; machine vision; pattern recognition, ML, and related projects; monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana; pipelines with Azure DevOps; ML/statistics models. Facility, Design & Construction Related Roles

(Please note that these roles will primarily be located in Phoenix, Arizona.) Facilities Electrical Engineer – Support operation/validation of electrical systems (230kV/34.5kV transformers, switchgear, diesel generators, UPS, transmission lines); system walkdowns, validation, startups, and documentation; contribute to special projects. Facilities Mechanical Engineer – Operate/validate mechanical systems (cleanroom HVAC, air abatement, chilled water); system walkdowns, validation, startups, documentation; contribute to special projects. Facilities Water Treatment Engineer – Operate/validate water treatment systems (ultrapure water, wastewater); walkdowns, validation, startups, documentation; contribute to special projects. Facilities Gas & Chemical Engineer – Operate/validate gas/chemical systems; water/wastewater; walkdowns, validation, startups, documentation; contribute to special projects. Chemical System Construction Engineer – Manage chemical/gas systems; oversee construction activities; forecasting, reporting, work planning; troubleshoot commissioning challenges and RFIs. Civil Structural Architectural (CSA) Engineer – Oversee concrete/steel structures and finishes; forecasting/reporting/work planning; troubleshoot field issues and RFIs. Electrical Systems Construction Engineer – Electrical installation/troubleshooting (low to 230kV); forecasting/reporting/work planning; resolve commissioning issues and RFIs. Water System Construction Engineer – Ultra-pure water systems and specialty wastewater; forecasting/reporting/work planning; resolve commissioning issues and RFIs. Mechanical System Control Engineer – HVAC, clean rooms, air abatement, process water; forecasting/reporting/work planning; resolve commissioning issues and field challenges. Minimum Qualifications For All Roles Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have: candidates must be enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction, or other related engineering fields. Business, finance, law or other related fields are also included. Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and design is a plus. Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs. Self-motivated learner; proactive collaboration; ability to work in a team and present ideas. Strong communication, computer, presentation, listening, and teamwork skills. Some roles may require the ability to lift weights in accordance with safety guidelines (NIOSH). Able to work in a cleanroom environment; gowning required; time on the factory floor with tools.
