Transaction Processing:
Handling the complex process of supporting and settling a vast number of transactions efficiently. Risk Management:
Developing and implementing controls to mitigate operational risk. Regulatory Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements. Client Relationships:
Building strong relationships with clients to provide exceptional service. Innovation:
Collaborating with business partners to develop new technologies, businesses, and markets. The Program: This 10-week Summer Analyst Program, starting in June, offers a comprehensive introduction to Operations at Morgan Stanley. It provides: Exposure:
A broad understanding of various functions within Operations and the broader financial services industry. Hands-On Learning:
Intensive on-the-job training and a group project to gain practical experience. Leadership Engagement:
Opportunities to interact with senior management within Operations. Immersive Experience:
A schedule filled with trainings, speaker series, networking events, and educational sessions to fully immerse participants in Operations and the firm’s culture. Role and Responsibilities: Summer Analysts will contribute to the Operations team by: Process Improvement:
Collaborating with teams to evaluate and improve processes for efficiency. Client Service:
Partnering with business units and Technology to deliver exceptional client service across trade capture, clearance, settlement, account opening, cash management, billing, tax reporting, and fraud monitoring. Technology Integration:
Working with Technology to design, manage, and implement process changes to streamline operations. Risk Mitigation:
Identifying and mitigating operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulations. Client Relationships:
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to deliver top-tier operational services. Qualifications and Skills: Academics:
Minimum GPA of 3.0; pursuing an undergraduate degree with expected graduation between December 2025 and June 2026. All majors are welcome. Skills:
Leadership, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team; attention to detail; sound judgment; discretion; time management; multitasking; problem-solving; positive attitude; proactive approach; strong work ethic.
