Senior Associate - Technology Analyst Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week.

Role Overview As a Senior Technology Analyst within New York Life’s Technology Organization, you will analyze, design, and support technology solutions that improve business efficiency and system performance with our production desktop platforms including Customer Service Representatives (CSR) Desktop, Field Service Desktop, and Agent Desktop based on Salesforce and AWS. You will assess requirements, perform analysis, identify gaps, and collaborate with teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high‑quality solutions that align with enterprise goals.

What You’ll Do

Partner with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to analyze requirements, document processes, and deliver scalable solutions that align with enterprise goals and regulatory standards.

Lead the documentation and enhancement of business and system processes, ensuring data accuracy, operational consistency, and compliance through effective data analysis and mapping.

Drive Agile delivery and execution by managing user stories, sprint activities, and priorities through JIRA and Confluence, ensuring transparent, on‑time, and high‑quality outcomes.

Identify and recommend opportunities for automation, configuration, workflow optimization, and technology integration, leveraging data and analytics to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Influence technology strategies by providing actionable insights, supporting solution validation, and presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders for informed decision‑making.

What You’ll Bring The Senior Technology Analyst should understand end‑to‑end workflows and integrations, configuration, connecting processes, platforms, and data to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. The role requires strong business, data, system, and technical analysis capabilities, supported by critical thinking, adaptability, and attention to detail. The role requires the ability to think strategically, learn quickly and communicate effectively with both business and technology partners.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in business, data, system and/or technical analysis.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical insights to both business and technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues and propose practical, efficient solutions.

Proven ability to perform business, systems, and technical analysis, with a strong understanding of end‑to‑end workflows, integrations, and process dependencies.

Demonstrated success working in Agile environments, using JIRA and Confluence for sprint planning, backlog tracking, and documentation.

Strong sense of ownership, organization, and accountability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis to support reporting and decision‑making.

Experience in Salesforce or CRM platforms with knowledge of configuration, data structures, workflows, and reporting capabilities.

Pay Transparency Salary Range: $79,000-$113,000. Overtime eligible: Exempt. Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes. Sales bonus eligible: No. Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
