Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team; foster a positive work environment; set goals; provide ongoing feedback to drive top performance.
Customer Experience: Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and upholding high service standards.
Sales & Performance: Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotions, and achievement of sales targets.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
Financial Management: Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance.
Marketing & Community Engagement: Implement local marketing initiatives and build relationships with the community to strengthen brand presence.
Innovation & Problem-Solving: Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
Other duties and projects as required.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a record of achieving sales targets and leading a team.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Customer-Centric: Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Minimum Requirements
Assistant Store Manager : Open availability including hours to open and close the store (mornings, days, and nights); minimum 5 days per week; average 44 hours per week; increased during peak periods.
Supervisor : Availability to open/close (mornings, days, and nights); minimum 5 days per week; minimum 30 hours per week.
All Management : Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation; clear English communication; ability to read and write English and perform basic business math; may relocate within the company network as needed.
Physical Demands
Prolonged standing (approximately 5 to 14 hours per day).
Extended periods during peak sale periods (holidays, back‑to‑school).
Stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pulling to stock or stock merchandise.
May climb a ladder or stairs to stock or retrieve merchandise.
Lift items weighing 5–25 lbs regularly (weights may be higher in some circumstances).
Good vision, including color differentiation.
Moderately noisy retail environment.
Education High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years retail leadership experience strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation
Assistant Manager pay range: $18.50–$20.00 per hour, with bonus opportunities based on store KPIs.
Supervisor pay range: $17.00–$18.00 per hour.
All roles are eligible for the company 401(k) plan. Full-time roles include medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company-paid time off.
