Product Compliance Analyst Pay Rate/Range: $32.00 Hours:

Schedule can be 7-4p or 8-5p. Can be 8/40 or 9/80 schedule. Location: Irvine, CA Duration: 5 months Position Summary:

Under general supervision, the Product Compliance Analyst ensures environmental and regulatory compliance of Thales products throughout their full lifecycle. This includes managing product-related HSE topics, supporting eco-design initiatives, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to meet international environmental directives and company objectives. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct lifecycle assessments (LCA) of products and processes to identify environmental impacts and opportunities for improvement.

Ensure compliance with global product and packaging regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS, WEEE, California Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, Batteries Directive).

Support product teams in implementing eco-design principles and reducing environmental footprint.

Coordinate with external vendors and cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, quality, legal, regulatory affairs) to gather data and ensure materials compliance.

Manage material tracking, BOM analysis, regulatory documentation, and declaration forms.

Provide compliance guidance across departments and develop or deliver relevant HSE training.

Stay current on regulatory changes and advise on their implications to product portfolios.

Participate in internal audits, risk assessments, and assist in customer negotiations on product HSE issues.

Contribute to environmental certifications and continuous improvement of compliance processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, or related field. 1–4+ years

of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree

0–2+ years

with a Master’s degree

3–5+ years

with an Associate degree

Experience in material compliance or product environmental regulation is a plus.

Experience in cross-functional, global, or regulated environments preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of global environmental and product compliance regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS, ISO 14001, 45001).

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams); database and data analysis skills.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Ability to interpret complex regulatory texts and translate into actionable tasks.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Team player with experience in cross-functional and international collaboration.

Familiarity with BOM analysis and environmental declarations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in electronics, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of eco-design development and life cycle analysis tools.

Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/14971 standards and GMP/GDP practices.

CAP or CBAP certification is a plus.
