Our client is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with strong experience delivering Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) construction projects, with an emphasis on medical facility HVAC and mechanical renovations. This role requires a proven leader who can manage all aspects of mission-critical projects in active healthcare environments, ensuring compliance with strict federal, medical, and safety standards while minimizing disruption to patient care. The Project Manager will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with government stakeholders, and deliver projects that directly support military readiness and healthcare operations for service members, veterans, and their families. Manage the full lifecycle of HVAC and mechanical renovation projects in federal medical facilities, from planning through commissioning and closeout. Lead cross-functional project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, safety staff, and quality control personnel. Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and controls in compliance with federal acquisition processes. Oversee submittals, RFIs, commissioning, and testing to ensure compliance with UFC, NFPA 99/101, FGI Guidelines, Joint Commission standards, and DHA-specific requirements. Conduct project meetings, resolve issues proactively, and maintain accountability across all stakeholders. Must Haves
5+ years’ experience managing federal DoD construction projects (medical HVAC/mechanical experience strongly preferred).
