Overview
As a member of the store management team, a Floor Manager plays an important role in all aspects of store management, including assisting in supervising store associates, merchandising, attracting and developing talent, and ensuring great customer service. Responsibilities
Supervise store associates and support store operations. Merchandise effectively and develop talent to provide excellent customer service. Qualifications
Minimum of 1-3 years’ retail experience Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead and develop others Vast knowledge of hardware related products and home projects a plus Willingness and ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs The minimum physical requirements for this position include: The ability to see and read product labels, dispense product knowledge, and communicate with customers Manual dexterity; working with cash registers and computers, assembly of some products; ability to quickly make appropriate change for customers Ability to stand for an extended period of time Bending, climbing, and twisting are routine; the position requires the ability to retrieve, stock, and move product Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds Benefits
401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount These benefits are available after 90 days of employment. Must be available to work on at least one day of the weekend, 16-28 hours per week. Seniority level
